The year is 2040. Technology progressed slowly, but eventually, progress was made. Mankind was able to prolong their lives with the creation of artificial organs known as Augments, or Augs for short. Things would very well likely be great...

Were it not for the people making the Augs to also ensure that people will always depend on Augs. They have now become corporate slaves working for higher powers to make only enough to keep paying for their organs, lest they get repossessed.

However, there are a select few who have got out of that system, either by not needing an Aug to survive or by disregarding the consequences. And now they must break the system or even try to make ends meet...
